ECUADOR is the smallest of the Andean nations. Her size, however, is not an indication of the country's wealth of sounds and sights. In Ecuador you will find remote jungle villages, fine pacific beaches, Indian markets and active volcanoes. Ecuador is home to the Galapagos Islands, which harbor some of the world's most fascinating wildlife.
Explore the naturalist's paradise. Join Earthbound Adventures on board the M/Y GALAPAGOS ADVENTURE, a first-first class 20-passenger yacht for a 7-day cruise exploring the Galapagos islands. Here we will be viewing wildlife, swimming and snorkeling with marine mammals. We'll enjoy short hikes on these volcanic Islands to observe and take close up photography of amazing wildlife such as bluefooted boobies, giant tortoises, frigate birds and more.

Trip Itinerary

Days 1-2: QUITO. Arrive in the evening and transfer to the hotel. The next day we'll have a city tour, a welcome dinner and an orientation.

Days 3-9: GALAPAGOS ISLANDS. We'll fly 600 miles west to the volcanic Galapagos Archipelago with its incredible and unique wildlife. For the next seven days we'll hike end view unique species such as Marine Iguanas, Galapagos Tortoises we'll swim and snorkel with friendly sea lions and, with the help of our local expert guide we'll learn more about this fragile environment.

Days 10-11: OTAVELO. Drive to the lovely Andean City of Otavelo. We will explore this interesting and scenic region, strolling the streets and visiting the renowned Otavelo market. This market is a festival of colors and textures! Here we will have the opportunity to see and buy thick colorful blankets, sweaters, tapestry wall hangings, and other souvenirs.

Days 11-12: QUITO. Farewell dinner and folk show will conclude this trip.

This natural-history adventure combines an unforgettable Galapagos cruise with exploration of the rain forest at La Selva reserve. You will start this adventure in the capital Quito, visit the lovely Andean City, Otavelo, explore the famous and colorful Indian market, fly to Cocha, and travel by canoe on the Napa River to La Selva lodge for four days of jungle exploration. The adventure continues aboard the M/Y GALAPAGOS ADVENTURE a first-class 20-passenger boat, for a 7-day cruise among the Galapagos Islands, an incredible natural sanctuary for marine life.


Trip Itinerary

Day 1: QUITO. Arrive in the evening, transfer to hotel.

Days 2-3: OTEVELO. A small Andean market town. We will explore this colorful region and visit the renowned Otavelo market with its colorfully dressed Indians. Welcome dinner on the second day.

Days 4-8: AMAZON. Fly to Cocha, transfer to dugout canoe. We will sail the Napo River to La Selva Lodge, surrounded by a rich fauna and flora jungle. uring the stay we'll hike with a naturalist guide, fish and swim in the nearby lakes. A night excursion to view the nocturnal wildlife.

Days 9-16: GALAPAGOS. For the next week we will cruise aboard the M/Y Galapagos-Adventure observing wildlife up close. Each day we'll visit a new island, and spend the day watching wildlife, swimming, and snorkeling with sea lions. This is an unforgettable experience.

Days 17-18: QUITO. Fly back to Quito. A farewell dinner and folk show will conclude this trip. The next day, transfer to the airport and depart for the U.S.
