| We offer 10 specialized trips to South America.
Our trips were created specifically for the
adventurous traveler. Whether your trip involves
a late night canoe trip through the Amazon Rain
Forest, or a swim with Sea Lions in the Galapagos
Island, one thing remains certain. By combining our
carefully crafted itineraries with the leadership of
our local naturalist guide, you will leave the area
with a true taste of the local nature and culture.
We're small--and we want to stay that way.
Unlike other adventure travel groups, we limit the number of trips we take.
We visit each of our destinations only twice a year. We travel in groups of 6-12
people at a time, to minimize the impact of our group on the environment
and the native culture. We base all our trips on personal adventures
which means we aren't sending you anywhere we haven't already been ourselves.
We were lucky enough to discover the thrill and beauty of a new environment
and we want you to discover it too--with our help. All our guides are native
South Americans and certified naturalists that have first-hand knowledge of
the local culture. This means that while you are enjoying the benefits of a
native's perspective, a share of our profits are being reinvested in
the local economy. The preservation of our planet is important to us. We
support conservation organizations whose ultimate goals are to stop and eventually
reverse the accelerating deterioration of our planet's natural environments. |
Toward these goals, Earthbound Adventures: |
| *Invests in creating tours with local experts that reflect unique opportunities
to see South America destinations in a new light. |
| *Purchase one acre of Rain Forest in the name
of every person who travels with us. |
| *Empowers our employees, business associates,
and guests with a philosophy that NATURE IS VALUABLE and that each of us can make a difference! |
In a U.S. News & World Report article dated
May 29, 1995, Earthbound Adventures was mentioned as one of the better Ecotour companies
in the nation. |
We invite and encourage you to join us and see
the difference!
